belulu
These are the rules for using Belulu on iOS and Android
(com.belulu.app). They’re meant to be readable. By installing or using
the app, you agree to this page and our
Privacy Policy.
Belulu is a lifestyle / motivation app: Lulu characters, daily affirmations, a short quiz to match you with a Lulu, FAQs, optional ads, and paid plans that unlock more characters. It’s entertainment — not therapy, medical advice, or a substitute for professional care. If you’re in crisis, please reach out to local emergency or crisis services.
You can sign in with Google, Sign in with Apple, or use guest access where we offer it. Keep your device secure. Don’t create fake accounts, spam the service, or try to break into someone else’s stuff. If you’re under the age of majority where you live, get a parent or guardian’s okay first.
We give you a personal license to use Belulu for yourself — not to scrape affirmations, resell content, crack the paywall, reverse engineer the app (beyond what the law already allows), or mess with our servers. Belulu’s name, Lulus, art, and copy belong to us or our licensors. YouTube clips that play in-app stay under YouTube’s terms.
After onboarding you typically get a free Lulu (Harlem) and free affirmations. Other Lulus may sit behind a subscription. What’s unlocked is shown on the paywall before you pay — that screen wins over any older blog post or screenshot.
Paid plans are auto-renewing subscriptions sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play. We use RevenueCat so the app can check entitlements, restore purchases, and keep plan status in sync. Money never hits Belulu’s servers as raw card data — Apple or Google charge you.
Current plan families (subject to change in the stores):
com.belulu.soft.monthly /
com.belulu.soft.annual
com.belulu.lock.monthly /
com.belulu.lock.annual
com.belulu.full.monthly /
com.belulu.full.yearly
Price, currency, trials, and intro offers are whatever Apple or Google show at checkout. Subscriptions renew unless you cancel in your Apple ID or Google Play settings (usually at least 24 hours before the period ends — follow the store’s rules). Use Restore Purchases if you reinstall or switch phones.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. When a paid period ends, paid Lulu unlocks may drop away; free content can stay. Deleting the app or your Belulu account does not cancel billing — cancel in the store.
We may show Google Mobile Ads. The app also relies on Firebase (auth, database, messaging, remote config), RevenueCat, Google/Apple sign-in, and occasionally YouTube embeds. Their terms apply to those pieces.
If you allow notifications, we may send reminders (affirmations, streaks, and similar). Turn them off anytime in Belulu or your phone settings.
Don’t use Belulu for anything illegal, harassing, or fraudulent. Don’t abuse support, try to game subscriptions, or attack the service. We can suspend or shut down accounts that break these rules.
There’s a delete-account flow in settings. That removes Belulu account data as described in the Privacy Policy. Again: it won’t cancel an App Store / Play subscription on its own.
Belulu is provided as-is. We work hard to keep it running, but we can’t promise zero bugs or perfect uptime. To the extent the law lets us, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential damages (lost profits, lost data, and so on). If something goes wrong and we’re responsible, our total liability for claims tied to the app is capped at what you paid us for Belulu in the prior 12 months, or $50 — whichever is higher — unless local law says we can’t limit it that way.
If you downloaded Belulu from Apple or Google, the relationship for these terms is with Belulu, not Apple or Google. You still need to follow their store rules. Apple and Google can enforce the store-related parts of this section as third-party beneficiaries.
We may update the app and these terms. The latest version will live at this URL with a new date. Keeping the app after a change means you accept the update, except where the law says otherwise.
